Earlier this year my honey and I got a bit vacation time from NYU for spring break. On a whim my sweetheart said “so why don’t we venture down to Florida for spring break” so that is exactly what we did. We did not take much time to pack and we spent maybe 10 mins tossing a few things in a backpack and she slipped on her Brahma boots and then we got in my vehicle and drove south. We had a little money and I had my bank card but we didn’t have much of a schedule and we didn’t have any idea where we would stay when we got in that area.
My special lady has always been the really adventurous type but I’ve always been a bit more traditional and this is hands down one of the most wacky and spontaneous thing I’ve ever completed. We do use a GPS in the vehicle so I wasn’t thinking about getting lost however I didn’t understand how many toll highways we might reach during this vacation. I 78, I-95, the New Jersey Turnpike, US 40, I-295 and there were most likely a few others in there also. We must have paid nearly $100 just on tolls.
After several hours of motoring we stopped to get gas at a truck stop and my girlfriend pointed out that she didn’t pack a swimsuit. Clearly we can’t go to spring break in Fort Lauderdale and not even possess a swimsuit therefore she looked to find out if there happen to be any bikinis on sale and there actually were. It turns out it is possible to purchase practically anything at a truck stop.
The getaway from NYU to Fort Lauderdale is actually nearly 1300 miles and will take about Twenty-one hours of driving however we wanted to get in that area as swiftly as feasible so we took turns behind the wheel and we actually made it to the area without stopping to get a hotel room. We just took turns with 1 of us behind the wheel and 1 of us resting the whole entire way. Of course when we got in that area the only real motel bedroom we could discover was no place near a beach but at the least we had my vehicle with us so that we could head to the beach and party with a number of the other individuals in that area enjoying spring break.
This particular trip was certainly spontaneous and we all had plenty of fun however I spent a good deal more dollars than I intended to. Maybe when I get back to university I can see if they may buy back textbooksin order that I can have some money. Who requires books anyway yes?
